        The first Calliope online nonfiction contest garnered eight entries and 18 critiques. While participation was slow, what we had was enthusiastic.
        It will be up to the membership whether we attempt to have this sort of contest again. Winning entries are presented in this issue of Calliope. Others will be published in future issues.
